We are so excited to welcome you and your family to the farm! Farming is at the heart of all we do—planting, watering, harvesting, and caring for the land. But just as much as we love farming, we love sharing it with you.
One of the best ways to experience life on the farm is through a hayride or Grain Train ride. These rides give you a glimpse into our world—where you can connect one-on-one with a farmer, hear the history of Dewey, Arizona, and see firsthand how food is grown. It’s not just a ride; it’s a chance to experience the story of farming up close.
Hop aboard every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze and create memories your family will never forget!
Our Corn Maze
Proud to Be a Farmer – 2025 Corn Maze
Each year, our corn maze tells a story. Two paths wind their way through towering 10-foot stalks—one challenging, one easier—inviting guests of all ages to take in the beauty of the season while testing their sense of direction. By day, the maze is full of laughter and discovery. By night, it becomes a whole new adventure—same paths, but in complete darkness!
In 2022, we began using cutting-edge tractor technology to design and plant the maze. With a digital file uploaded directly into the tractor, we can map out intricate designs that not only create unforgettable guest experiences but also showcase the innovation and efficiency of modern farming. Before that, every path was cut by hand once the corn sprouted just a few inches tall.
This year, our 2025 maze theme is “Proud to Be a Farmer.” It’s a tribute to farmers and ranchers everywhere—their grit, their stewardship, and their responsibility to feed communities across the nation. Farming is not just an occupation; it’s a calling. It means showing up every day for the land, the animals, the weather, and for you.
Our past maze themes have celebrated milestones like water conservation (2023), highlighting our 90% reduction in water use after converting from flood irrigation to pivot and drip systems, and “Still Farming” (2021), honoring the miracle of purchasing the land we now call home after leasing it for 10 years. At the end of 2020 we were able to purchase the farmland that we have been leasing for 10 years known as Mortimer Farms. That year's corn maze was a celebration of this miracle. We are "still farming". A celebration and experience that we are so blessed to share with your family. It is a privilege to welcome families from across Arizona to connect with the passion and principles of the American farming and ranching community and the food on their plate. Thank you for supporting our passion and sharing our farm with us! Here is to connecting your family to your food for generations to come because we are "still farming".
This year’s design reminds us all: every bite begins with a farmer or a rancher. We’re proud to share that story with you in the most fun way we know how—inside the twists and turns of the Mortimer Farms corn maze.

2024 - Generational Farming

We grow all of our pumpkins—right here at the farm and also at our ranch just 10 miles away. Between the two, we raise enough pumpkins for retail, wholesale, photo opportunities, and even to feed our cattle at the end of the season. The slight difference in weather between the farm and the ranch also gives us a great backup plan if one location faces a tough growing year.
Kids will love the hunt for their “just right” pumpkin, and parents will love the endless photo opportunities among the vines.
Pre-Picked Pumpkins at the Country Store
If you’d rather skip the fields—or if you’re not attending Pumpkin Fest—you can still bring home a gorgeous pumpkin! Our Market & Deli is filled with rows and rows of freshly harvested pumpkins straight from our fields, ready for you to choose the perfect one.
Pumpkin Pricing

Once you’ve found your pumpkins, drop them off at Pumpkin Valet where we’ll “babysit” them for you while you enjoy the rest of your day on the farm. When it’s time to head home, simply drive through Pumpkin Valet to pick up your pumpkins—quick, convenient, and magical!
Please note: Pumpkins are not included in Pumpkin Fest admission. Pumpkins are weighed and paid for on your way out.
